How many professional and volunteer adult leaders are there?

At the last count there were 6442 professionals and 322 pre-professionals or professional technicians (1997) and well over 65,400 volunteer adult leaders at the District or Council level. There are another 200 or so volunteers with sole registration at the Area, Regional or National level. These figures do not include Unit leaders and committee members.
